My name is Sarah Cole, and I want to change the world. Isn’t that what all journalists say? I’ve been writing for years, but am now considered a “journalist.” I’ve worked for muse, previously published as The Life at the University of West Alabama and The Anniston Star. I’ve had articles published in the Meridian Star, the Sumter Country Record Journal, and The Eagle’s Eye magazine. A number of my photographs were published in Livingston’s Sucharnochee Review. At this moment, I serve as the Huntsville Fashion Examiner. I am also a photographer with Phunktography, a small business I started up back in 2009. My biggest project, however, is The Arts Gang which was tied to my graduate school program at the University of Alabama. My primary focus is arts and entertainment writing. I would love to one day write for a magazine and travel the world, meeting new people and tracking my thoughts all along the way.

What She Said is where I post my rants and raves regarding the ever-changing world of journalism, my struggles after graduate school, moments of brief demotivation, failed attempts at life, my love for animals, random occurrences, the joys of being a server with a Master of Arts, bits of inspiration: a collaboration of my daily adventures to find myself as a writer, an artist, and an individual.

Please feel free to follow me on Twitter or Pinterest. Check out my Flickr. And feel free to introduce yourself. I’m always up for meeting new friends.
